NIC-6 was created with NIC as water treatment compounds that address a combination of issues from rust and mineral staining (iron, calcium, magnesium, etc.) to plugging in micro-jet and mist nozzles.
NIC-6
Use NIC-6 when faced with high biological challenges and medium/moderate mineral content in irrigation water (NIC should be used for high mineral content issues). NIC-6 is commonly used in misthouse, propagation house, and well-sourced applications and is effective as an additive to cooling pads for mineral and other issues.
Organophosphates Surfactants and Stabilizers
It is manufactured with the most up-date mixture of organophosphates, surfactantsand stabilizers. The organophosphates allow NIC-6 to sequester cationic ions (iron, magnesium, calcium, manganese), thereby neutralizing and suspending them.
When suspended, the ions are unable to bond, form scale and plug nozzles and emitters. They can then pass harmlessly through the system.
